18th Annual Open Awards Show
The 18th Annual Open Awards Show, sponsored by ARA, was a success although attendance and sales seemed to be down this year. We received many positive comments about the quality of artwork exhibited, the general layout of the exhibit and the overall operation of the show.

All of this was possible due to the support of our local businesses, the many people attending the show and all our wonderful volunteers. A great big"THANK YOU"to all of YOU who offered your time and effort to help with the various aspects that go into sponsoring this event. EVERYONE'S HELP WAS MOST APPRECIATED!

ARA would like to extend a special THANK YOU to:
First Colorado Land Office for their generous sponsorship of this year's show.
Judith Kinzie for her equally generous sponsorship of this year's show.
Susan Chermack for her contacts with The Mountain Mail for publicity for the show.
Karen Lawrence, Pat Brooks, Cheryl Jackson and Andi Wilkerson for their many hours donated to make this year's show possible.
Joye Moon for an excellent two-day workshop and her expertise in judging the many quality pieces entered this year.

You may have noticed more honrable mention ribbons were awarded this year? This was due to the outstanding merit of the works exhibited. Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's show and congratulations to all the many winners:
